Letizia Lisi is president and founder of the Artistic Cultural Association “ Il Melograno “ (The Pomegranate)
Her artistic journey, lived loving art and considering it as a synonym for enrichment and progress of the human being has lead her to become herself vehicle of culture. "The Pomegranate" is a symbol of our cultural tradition Its archaic flavor recalls a taste of virgiliana memory and it’s representative of a poetic and joyful world whit simple values as the wonder in the eyes of a child in front of a pomegranate and its load of red beans and sweet juice. Based on this strong cultural identity, Il Melograno has created over the years a group of artists who had made of the artistic revival of Taranto their flag. Thanks to its efforts , "Il Melograno" today represents an excellent instrument of cultural diffusion at regional and national levels
The fervent activities carried out is concretized through the implementation of cultural events and painting exhibitions on a monthly basis. In the last two years the “ Melograno” has organized 26 exhibitions
"Il Melograno" represents a benchmark for distinguished artists and a prestigious business card for those who ,for the first time, are approaching the world of art.
